As Master of Ceremonies, DJ Dee clearly and pleasantly makes announcements, and adds the Professional Touch to your event. This adds continuity and organization to your event, smoothing out the sequence and crisply moving between activities. We only have one DJ and you will only communicate with DJ Dee from planning through completion of the event. You will know exactly who your DJ is from the very beginning without a doubt. Our Professional Sound System is clear and pleasant sounding. After spending some time providing sound support for the Air Force band, DJ Dee is very particular about the sound quality. And as a lifetime professional musician, DJ Dee REALLY wants the music to sound great. There will also be a microphone available for you to use if you wish, and if you will tell us ahead of time, we can supply you a wireless microphone for toasts, etc. We use only top quality professional equipment, to include: an MP3 player and Numark MP300 Dual CD/MP3 Player sound sources, Powerful "above industry-standard" Peavey PV215 Dual 15" large speaker cabinets, a QSC RMX1850HD Power Amplifier, backup JBL Eon powered speakers, and fun DJ Lighting effects by American DJ and Chauvet. We consider our equipment cutting edge, and use late model and dependable professional products.

Destination Weddings to the Oregon Coast are extremely popular, and constitute a large percentage of our performances. As the Master of Ceremony for your reception, DJ Dee announces each event beginning with the Grand Entrance of the Wedding Party if you wish, accompanied by appropriate background music. Then for the dance portion, we combine your tastes and requests with time-honored dance favorites for all ages. We take song requests from you and your guests also, although guest requests will be limited, and the priority is on the bride and groom or sponsor's musical selections. It is only possible to play 14-16 dance songs per hour, and many times the dance portion of a wedding reception is only about two hours long, so you can see that the bride and grooms requests and preferences need to have top priority. We guarantee to have the First Dance song of your choice, unless it is not available on CD or MP3 to buy, or in your CD library.

We will meet you for an in-person, free planning session in Newport if you wish, to be scheduled in our day-time weekday schedule. We are also easily and quickly accessible for unlimited, quality planning and consultation by email and telephone. This is your special day, and we are there to do it your way.

We also offer Karaoke, with a large and varied song collection. We use a song lyric monitor that displays the words as they are sung. This really encourages people to get up and sing and have fun. Singers have the words to the songs right in front of them, and great musical accompaniment in the background. We also have key changing capabilities, and 2 wireless karaoke microphones, eliminating troublesome cables. People in the Northwest are really enjoying our Karaoke services more and more every year.

We have enjoyed DJ'ing School Dances on the coast, and with digital music these days, we can play almost any Top 40 song. We coordinate ahead of time with School Officials and Student Representatives, ensuring that student preferences are met, and assuring school staff that we personally screen every song we play, only playing songs with acceptable lyrics, or radio edits that have replaced objectionable lyrics if appropriate. We actually enjoy a wide variety of music, including most Top 40 songs. We play a large variety of current music, not just sticking with one style. We try to play something for everyone. We prefer to receive requests in writing or email prior to the dance, during the planning phase. We play as many requests as time allows.
